How I Got Started:

In 1986, I started my radio career at a classic rock station in Oceanside, CA doing overnights (midnight to 6a)

I moved to Colorado in 1988 and have been up and down the radio dial on many different stations and formats.  I’ve worked in commercial  radio the majority of my career and currently run a morning show on a local community radio station. I’ve spoken on stages, introduced bands, done live broadcasts at events, written, edited, voiced and produced commercials.

For many years the thought of public speaking terrified me, as it does many.  I was placed in some situations that required I set that aside and eventually I overcame the nervousness and was able to make some fairly acceptable presentations.  In 2019 I was given the opportunity to do something totally different, present a short recap of Broncos games on live radio twice a week.  I jumped at the chance even though in my heart I was panicking.  Suddenly I found myself on Pirate Radio 93.5 twice a week tossing out facts & stats twice a week. It was great fun but I did not feel comfortable.  Most broadcasts were me remotely by phone.  A few times I got the chance to go to the studio & do it in person.
